Hello, my fellow Americans!

My name is “Kinoko.” I was born in Lisbon, Portugal. My mother was white: I never knew my father. I was born “out-of-wedlock” and raised by my single mother. I came to America when I was 1½ years old.

It is the story of my life — how I became American. A book compiled with cute drawings. And it’s great fun — you will like it!
