About Wordrunner
Chapbooks
The “Wordrunner” is really Jo-Anne Rosen.
The chapbook press is located in a home office in Petaluma (40
miles north of San Francisco).
I am a published writer of short fiction, with an MA in English
literature. It is my pleasure to prepare books of poetry or short
stories for fellow writers, and to see the list of books in print
grow each year since 1997.
My stories have appeared in small magazines such as Other
Voices, The Florida Review, The Dickens, and
zines, Roman
Candles and Bustout
Magazine. I was awarded
a two-week writing residency at Soapstone in
2007.
I self-publish my own work, as well. Two chapbooks are listed
on the Books in Print page. Fiction
and memoir from my writing support group, the No-Name Writers
Convivium, was published on the e-chapbook site
in fall 208.
