Now I don’t care where we go
or exactly what we do.
But before this day is over
this is what will do,
We know it very well
This is a secret, I can tell
were going to a special place,
a place where lovers dwell.

And I know, it shows,
clearly on my face.
This is love you will never have to chase.
Hold me close, it feels good this way.
Hear these soft words that I’m about to say.
Can’t wait to tell you, I’ve been feeling this all day.
Please don’t be upset with me for taking the long
way.

I’m so proud, to be your lady.

I know your surprise at me
for saying.
This should’ve happened long ago.
But I hesitated, I was delaying.
All this time you’ve showed,
what I needed most.
You’ve made me strong enough,
I’m ready for our relationship to grow.

So let’s run away,
inside this maze of love
sweet love, my love, like a dove
forever starts today.

The maze where lovers dwell
to be continued................
