“Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I use the locale to my artistic advantage in composing my verse. Where the Monongahela River etches its presence into the valley, the embracing woodland fashions secrets of mystery and reverence. The noble forest rise high to mountain peaks and the cornfields low to rivers edge. To the steed eating the sweet yellow while a woman hangs white sheets against the summer breeze.
"It is this place that inspires me to be the writer . . . the poet, to express myself through the application of words, to capture the treasure when life is what we have.”
