About WordrunnerThis is a one-woman shop, established in 1982 in San Francisco, and presently located in a home office in Petaluma (40 miles north of San Francisco). Hello! I'm Jo-Anne Rosen. I have been preparing books, manuals and newsletters for publication for about thirty years. I'm a published writer of short fiction, with an MA in English literature. It is my pleasure to prepare well-crafted books for fellow writers. My stories have appeared in over two dozen journals, including Other Voices, The Florida Review, Room of One's Own, The Dickens, Flashquake, Bustout Magazine, The Summerset Review, Prick of the Spindle and Pithead Chapel. Selected stories from a mini-collection, The Luckiest Man Alive, were performed at the New Short Fiction Series in Hollywood, California, on October 12, 2014. In 2015, my first fiction collection, What They Don't Know, was independently published. I have published the online, hybrid chapbook and literary journal, Wordrunner eChapbooks since 2008. Please take a look at the Wordrunner site to see what else is going on in my shop. I build websites and prepare any sort of publication for print or electronic distribution. Testimonials from clients may be found here. Contact:
